Chris and I worked together at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre for ten years, during which time we travelled to Amsterdam, Venice and Florence. We lifted weights and swam after work, visited many shows and restaurants, often with Rita Lawrence.  Many Saturdays were spent in London, doing so much.

The picture is from our visit to The Rocky Horror Show in Oxford, all three of us - so, so long ago, but never forgotten!

Our friendship continued after our lives took us in different directions, and we then shared an interest in Genealogy too. Chris came to my second wedding in 2009, and despite the inconvenience of my move to Swindon, our regular contact remained.

She was a very special friend for so many years.  I shall miss her so much.  At least now her battles are over. God bless you Chris xx
